HOW YOUR COFFEE SUBSCRIPTION WORK

The team at Joe Merchant selects, tests and picks the finest coffee roasters from throughout Australia so that we can send you a new coffee roast every month

You simply register your payment details, address and type of coffee that you (or a gift recipient) want and we organise the rest… very simple!

SELECT

We scan, research from the market the best local Australian coffee roasters that meet our high standards of freshness and unique coffee tastes.

SUBSCRIBE

You subscribe with a credit card or paypal to one of the monthly coffee plans to receive 250g, 500g, 750g, 1kg of freshly roasted coffee each month.

FRESH ROAST

The hand picked coffee roaster of the month, creates a fresh batch of single origin and origin blend for espresso and filter use that is packaged and sealed ready for you to grind or use direct.

SHIPPED

We pack and ship via Australia Post or courier direct to your home or office so you receive your roast fresh each month.

How much does it cost?

The choice of plan is yours…or perhaps solely dependent on how addicted you are to great coffee.

 

What if I need more?

If you need more than this, contact us and we can set you up with a custom plan.

 

How long will it last me?

Depending on how strong you like to brew your coffee, the average 250g bag can make about 20-25 cups of coffee.

 

When will you charge my card?

Your card will be charged around the 8th of each month.

 

When will I receive my coffee?

All coffee is freshly roasted and sent out mid-month, every month. If you subscribe before the 7th of the month, you will receive your first coffee that month. If you subscribe after the 7th, you’ll start receiving coffee the following month.

 

Can I pause or cancel?

Of course you can! You may be a slave to coffee, but you’re certainly not a slave to us. Simply email us before the 2nd of the month and we will pause or cancel your plan. We never hold a grudge, so you’re welcome to resume or come back at any time.

 

Can I change my plan preferences?

Of course you can. If you ever want to change anything relating to your plan, just email us and we’ll do it for you.

How does the gift subscription work?

You simply pay upfront for the gift subscription and your recipient will receive coffee for the selected number of months. If you purchase a gift before the 7th of the month, your recipient will receive their first delivery that same month. If you purchase after the 7th, they will receive their first delivery the following month.

 

Can you send me pre-ground coffee?

Yes we certainly can! Simply select the option on the order form.

 

Why do you need to know my preferred brewing method etc?

Your brew method will determine what roast style we send you and if you’ve opted for ground coffee, it will also determine the grind type to ensure we send you the most appropriate coffee. The more we know about your coffee preferences, the better we can serve you.

 

How do you select the coffees you send me?

The selection process involves careful assessment of the freshest beans that are available, their origins and of course taste testing. We work with the best artisan roasters to determine the highest quality coffees to send out based on your personal preferences. Whilst we might feature the same roaster more than once, the beans we send out will be different. Variety is the spice of life! All coffee is produced and sourced ethically and sustainably.

 

What if I’m not happy with my coffee?

Please tell us! We would love to know what you’re unhappy with so we can make it right and ensure that your future deliveries are to your liking.

 

Do you supply to offices?

Absolutely. If you’d like to enjoy a monthly supply of fresh coffee in your workplace, simply email us and we’ll get you sorted.

 

Do you supply to cafes?

We sure do. Give your cafe an edge by featuring a monthly rotating roster. Get in touch and we’ll arrange this for you. Your customers will love the added dimension.

 

Do you ship internationally?

We do indeed! Please note that overseas deliveries can take a little longer but all coffee is freshly sealed so no need to worry!
